About the Author
Matt Mernagh is possibly the most infamous medical marijuana patient in North America — despite not actually being in the medical cannabis program. Since spending two nights in Toronto’s Don Jail having been caught cultivating the city’s largest balcony grow, Mernagh has been embroiled in a complex legal battle with roots as deep as the Constitution. The ultimate goal is to allow patients to grow their own medicine without restrictive and illogical licenses from the government's broken medical marijuana program. In the meantime, Mernagh has a court ordered exemption from the country’s marijuana laws, making him the only person in Canada legally entitled to grow and possess his own weed.
Mernagh has been a writer and activist for 15 years, and was a regular contributor to Toronto papers NOW and Exclaim! as well as Marc Emery’s Cannabis Culture. He currently runs an extensive collection of cannabis smoke reports on his website, Mernagh.ca, and hosts the Mernajuana Show every week from Toronto’s Vapor Central.

Marijuana Smoker's Guidebook is a useful resource of information for all users. The guide demonstrates simple ways to identify common characteristics of cannabis strains without reaching a level of complexity that could be difficult to understand. From the introduction with all the How To's to the detailed unique individual descriptions of many popular buds this book is a wealth of knowledge that readers will find as an asset to their cannabis consumption. Sensi Star is one of my favourites. Maybe Vol.2 could have a scratch and sniff feature :D

It's a bit difficult deciding where to start praising this book - Matt Mernagh is a proven writer making his book debut. His legacy as a music reviewer shows through his colourful and thorough reviews of 150 of today's cannabis (marijuana) strains in full-colour and vivid detail. The book is not only educational, but highly entertaining to read. Props to the editor and layout artists, as well, because they even thought to include a letter scale (i.e. fan the pages to quickly spot the strain you're seeking!) This is my new favourite cannabis book!

Matt Mernaghs Marijuana Smokers Guidebook is a must have! not only is it insanely affordable, but its extremly well written, with beautiful pictures of some of the best Buds around! I was lucky enough to have Matt sign it, aswell as Remo the UrbanGrower, Mark TheWeedGuy Klokied, Rocky & JB! I HIGHly reccomend Matts Guidebook :) 5/5
